Riverina Co-operative Society Limited is a locally focused retail co-operative that seeks competitive advantage in quality, value-added products and services.

As a co-operative, we share skills and resources among business units to optimise performance. We are committed to a plan of sustained sales and profit growth that recognises and balances both short and long term goals.

Our Mission

Our mission is to achieve or enhance clear leadership in the existing or new core consumer product categories in which we choose to compete.

Current core categories are:

·         Rural Merchandise, including animal health products, agricultural chemicals, fertiliser, seed, farm hardware and produce.

·         Hardware, as part of the Thrifty Link group, including house and garden, hand and power tools, electrical and plumbing supplies, do-it-yourself products and paint.

·         Clothing and Manchester, including men’s and women’s work wear, casual wear, boots, towels and bed accessories.

·         Liquor, including a selection of beers, wines and spirits.

To achieve this mission the Co-operative will also compete in supporting product and service areas that enhances the Co-operative’s ability to achieve or hold the leadership position in the category.
